Zelensky Responds to Putin's Invitation to Visit Moscow
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to meet with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin anywhere except Moscow. This was stated live by the advisor to the president's office, Sergey Leshchenko, according to RBC-Ukraine.
“Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to meet with Vladimir Putin anywhere except Moscow because Moscow is the capital of the aggressor country. This format of negotiations is impossible,” Leshchenko said.
It is noteworthy that this was, in essence, a response to the Russian side, as Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov had earlier stated that if Zelensky wished for a meeting, he should come to Moscow. Ushakov noted that Putin is prepared for a meeting, and such a meeting will be organized.
