Strong Armenia: Three Individuals Detained from Rally Site

The government’s propaganda machine is lying. No individuals were detained from the rally site yesterday. This was reported to NEWS.am by the Strong Armenia party.

“Yesterday, the government’s propaganda machine spread false information claiming that three supporters of the Strong Armenia alliance were detained from the venue of the rally at Victory Park on suspicion of carrying cold weapons. This information does not correspond to reality. No one was detained from the rally site yesterday.”

“We have clarified that at the same time, three citizens were detained in the vicinity of the event on suspicion of carrying cold weapons, who did not participate in the rally and have no connection to the Strong Armenia alliance. According to our information, these individuals were released shortly after their detention and no criminal proceedings have been initiated against them.”

It is worth recalling that the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced yesterday that three individuals were taken to the police from the Strong Armenia rally site.
