Peskov on Attempts to Disrupt Victory Day Celebrations
No attempts have been made to disrupt the Victory Day celebrations, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists. He stated, "Nothing has been attempted, everything is fine," in response to a question about whether Ukrainian armed forces had tried to undermine the festivities.
Peskov had previously noted that additional measures were being taken to ensure the president's security against the backdrop of threats from Ukraine regarding the potential disruption of the Victory Day parade. Access to mobile internet has been temporarily restricted in Moscow.
