Obama and Biden Left Behind 'Augean Stables,' Says Zakharova

The former Presidents of the United States, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, left behind an 'Augean Stable' that Russia and the U.S. now have to clean up, said Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

'In recent years, numerous issues have accumulated in bilateral relations. It seems that both our leaders, in Anchorage and during phone conversations, have emphasized the need to clean up this confusion. This is not just chaos; these are the Augean Stables left behind by the Biden and Obama regimes,' Zakharova stated.

She also referred to an article she authored concerning the forced citizenship granted to children of Russian diplomats by the United States. Zakharova emphasized that these are 'absolutely inadequate approaches and practical steps' being carried out by the U.S. 'deep state' behind President Donald Trump.
