Kocharian Comments on Zelensky's Visit to Armenia

The Prime Ministerial candidate from the 'Armenia' alliance, Robert Kocharian, has stated that the authorities, after failing to address the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, are now leading the country into a new adventure.

During a campaign rally held in Ejmiatsin on May 8, Kocharian emphasized that the authorities organized the summit of the European Political Community and invited Zelensky, whose statements have been provocative. According to Kocharian, this represents a new gamble, either to appease Macron or for other purposes.

He noted that the primary reason behind this is the ruling party's lack of a coherent message, as they have failed in all areas and are now attempting to convince the public to re-elect them by evoking the threat of war. As a second motivation, he highlighted the desire for Europeans to overlook the current events in Armenia.

The Prime Ministerial candidate asserted that Prime Minister Pashinyan's personal interests do not align with the state’s interests, and they reject this approach.
