Election Campaign Kicks Off: How Political Forces Are Launching It
According to the 'Zhoghovurd' daily, the election campaign kicks off today, on May 8. Nineteen political forces will participate in the nationwide elections set for June 7, presenting their ideas and political programs to the public.
The newspaper outlines how each political force is launching its campaign today.
'Civil Contract' will start its campaign from the south of the Republic, specifically from the Syunik region.
'Strong Armenia' will commence its campaign in front of the National Assembly with a press briefing by Narek Karapetyan.
The 'Armenia' alliance will launch its campaign from the spiritual center of the Armenian nation, Echmiadzin.
The 'Wings of Unity' initiative starts its campaign from the Goshavank monastery complex in Ijevan.
The Heritage Party has informed that their campaign has effectively already started. 'The Heritage Party approved and presented its electoral program after over two hours of discussion on May 7. On May 9, party members will visit the 'Victory' park to pay tribute to the heroes who secured victory,' they informed us.
The 'Alliance for Democracy' will start its campaign from the consolidated community of Ashtarak.
'Republic' will first visit the 'Yerablur' military pantheon to pay respect to all the fallen, followed by a meeting with residents of the Center at the Hakob Paronyan Theater and laying flowers at the statue of Vazgen Sargsyan.
The 'Democratic Alliance' party will kick off its campaign from the border village of Voskepar.
From 'Against Everyone', it was communicated that it is still unknown from which city or region they will start. 'During this period, our youth have been working in the regions, but we currently have no decision. Regardless, we are considering starting in a non-standard way,' the political force said.
''DOK' will begin its campaign on May 9, visiting both Yerablur and the 'Victory' park to honor the memory of the martyrs while emphasizing the significance of the May Triad.
The 'Reformists' party will start its campaign from its own office located at Terian 10 in Yerevan.
The 'Republican Party of Armenia', underscoring the significance of the liberation of Shushi, will visit Yerablur today, on May 8, to lay flowers in memory of the martyrs, and then on May 9, it will start its campaign from its hometown of Gyumri.
The 'New Force' reformist party, 'Prosperous Armenia', 'Bright Armenia', 'Alliance' Progressive Centrist Party, 'Kochary National Renaissance and National Awakening' party, and the Christian Democratic Party have not yet announced from where and in what format they will start their campaigns.
It is reminded that the mentioned forces will participate in the parliamentary elections according to the following ballot numbers:
