Donald Trump Announces Putin and Zelensky's Decision

US President Donald Trump has announced a three-day ceasefire has been established in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He noted that Victory Day will be celebrated in both Russia and Ukraine, as both countries played significant roles during World War II.

The agreement includes a halt to all types of military operations and an exchange of 1,000 prisoners from each side. According to the US president, he personally made this request and highly values the willingness of Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky.

“I hope this signifies the beginning of the end for this very long, bloody, and difficult war. Negotiations to end this massive conflict, the largest since World War II, are ongoing, and we are getting closer to a conclusion every day,” Donald Trump wrote.
