Car Falls Into River from Bridge: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On May 7, at 22:57, the Tavush regional operational management center received a notification about a traffic accident in the village ofaghavnavank, where a car collided with a pillar and subsequently fell into the river. Fortunately, there were no casualties. This information was reported by the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that a "Mercedes-Benz" car had left the roadway and fallen into the river from the bridge located in the village of Aghavnavank. Rescuers de-energized the vehicle, closed the valve of the gas cylinder, and retrieved it from the river with the help of a crane.
