Russia's Foreign Ministry Summons Armenian Ambassador Following Zelensky's Statements in Yerevan

The Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has announced that the Armenian ambassador, Gurgin Arsenyan, has been summoned to the ministry.

During a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, the ambassador was informed that the provision of a 'platform' to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during recent events held under the auspices of the EU, where 'terrorist threats against Russia' were voiced, is unacceptable.

According to the ministry's statement, Moscow is 'justifiably outraged' by this and considers the lack of a proper negative assessment from official Yerevan regarding such indecorous behavior from the aforementioned visitor incompatible with the partnership nature of Armenian-Russian relations.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the ambassador assured that he would report the Russian side's claims to Yerevan.

It should be noted that earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry had issued statements accusing Armenia.
