Russia's Foreign Ministry Accuses Armenia: Statement
The Russian Foreign Ministry has announced that the absence of an official response from Yerevan regarding Vladimir Zelensky's speech does not align with the partnership relations between the two countries.
"Moscow considers the lack of a proper negative assessment from official Yerevan regarding the improper behavior of the aforementioned visitor to be incompatible with the partner nature of Russian-Armenian relations," the ministry's website stated.
It is worth recalling that on May 4-5, the capital of Armenia hosted the European Political Community Summit and the first Armenia-EU Summit, which was also attended by Vladimir Zelensky.
Earlier, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated in response to a question from RIA Novosti that Zelensky's visit to Yerevan highlighted the future that the European Union envisions for the Armenian people.
