Zakhrova Presents Russia's Position on Possible Negotiations
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has stated that Russia is not refusing and is ready for negotiations regarding Ukraine, reports TASS.
“The Russian side is ready for a negotiation process and contacts that will yield real results and effects,” said Maria Zakharova.
According to her, the United States is currently fully engaged in events in the Middle East. Earlier, in early April, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, noted that trilateral format negotiations on the topic of Ukraine had been suspended. He attributed this to the fact that the U.S. has “a number of other issues.”
