Who is Eligible for Electronic Voting: Details
According to the constitutional law "Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia," voters who serve diplomatically at the diplomatic or consular representations of the Republic of Armenia, as well as family members with the right to vote who reside abroad, are entitled to vote electronically. This right also extends to military personnel on long-term service assignments or studying abroad, along with their family members who have voting rights. Other than this group of individuals, electronic voting is not permitted.
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced in a special session on May 6 that envelopes containing individual codes corresponding to the number of voters participating in electronic voting were transferred to representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
Electronic voting will commence on May 29 at 08:00 and will continue until May 31 at 20:00. The list of voters who participated in electronic voting will be submitted to the CEC by June 1 at 12:00.
