We Are Definitely Ready for That: Zakharova

Maria Zakharova has stated that Russian diplomatic representatives in European countries are prepared for potential provocations anticipated on May 9.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, indicated that they are ready for provocations every day, as such events occur regularly in various locations. She emphasized that they have witnessed various forms of these provocations and are morally prepared, adding that they have seen to what extent these unfriendly regimes have reached in their animosity.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also highlighted that according to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the states where Russian diplomats are accredited are responsible for ensuring their personal safety and protecting diplomatic missions.

“Provocations have occurred, are occurring, and, unfortunately, will continue to occur. Are we ready? Yes, definitely,” she concluded.
