VIDEO: You Will Try to Bring Back Artsakh at the Expense of Other People's Sons – Vahagn Aleksanyan

Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract party, addressed the statements made by the opposition, raising issues regarding the responsibility of the faction leader's son and the political actions taken by the opposition in the past.

Responding to the opposition's claims that Azerbaijan has advanced into areas under the control of the Armenian army, Aleksanyan questioned why the leader of the opposition faction does not speak about his son's responsibility in that regard. The lawmaker inquired about the tank battalion, whose commander was his son, who left after sustaining a strange injury, leaving the troops behind.

Commenting on MP Khachatryan’s idea of projecting the past trajectory onto the future, Aleksanyan reminded that when they proposed lowering the bar for the presence of Armenians in Artsakh, the opposition accused them of treason. He noted that the opposition team did everything possible to prevent the authorities of Artsakh from attending negotiations in Sofia.

According to the MP, when they suggested carrying out demarcation and delimitation with Azerbaijan, the opposition held rallies arguing that this would lead to disaster. Aleksanyan concluded that by looking at the past trajectory, the opposition will again announce that delimitation is a curse and will try to bring back Artsakh at the expense of other people's sons.
