VIDEO: I Will Discuss This Issue with Aliyev – Macron on Armenian Prisoners

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, addressed the issue of Armenian prisoners held in Baku in an interview with NEWS.am.

"My answer is negotiations. I believe that tomorrow, when I meet with the Prime Minister, I will discuss this issue with him. Immediately after this visit, I will have another discussion with President Aliyev. You know that we always try to play our role in mediating and assisting. I believe in the respect for international law and I am very happy that the tensions have diminished in recent months, and a new phase has begun. I think it is very important to support this new phase of peace and stability. Therefore, our role is to do everything possible to improve the situation," Macron stated.
