VIDEO: Narek Karapetyan on Zelensky's Possible Visit

Narek Karapetyan, a representative of the "Strong Armenia" party, commented on the potential visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Yerevan and its impact on Armenian-Russian relations.

During a press conference held in Artashat on May 1, Karapetyan, a council member of the "Strong Armenia" party and the head of the electoral list, stated that such a visit could create problems in relations with their trade partner, the Russian Federation. According to him, the executive branch must weigh all circumstances and take responsibility for any sharp changes in foreign policy.

Karapetyan emphasized that any action has consequences and expressed hope that these would not be negative for the country, adding to the necessity of maneuvering in crisis situations. He also warned that after the most recent "effective" discussions with their northern partner, it is crucial to avoid escalating the situation.
