Armenian Boxing Federation Files Complaint with WORLD BOXING

The Armenian Boxing Federation has issued a statement: “The Armenian national team concluded the World Cup with one silver medal. Davit Chaloyan became the runner-up, despite it being claimed that he should have been awarded victory in the finals. Once again, the referees made incomprehensible decisions, awarding the match to his opponent with a score of 3:2. Due to numerous illogical decisions from the referees, some of our athletes were also deprived of medals.

The Armenian Boxing Federation, under the leadership of Hovhannes Hovsepyan, has already lodged a complaint with WORLD BOXING and is pursuing a review and investigation of the refereeing decisions, with hopes that those responsible will be held accountable,” the statement reads.
