Prince Harry Arrives in Kyiv
Prince Harry of the United Kingdom has arrived in Kyiv today, as reported by British ITV News. Upon arriving in Ukraine, he stated that he is pleased to be back in the country.
According to ITV News, his aim is to remind people both at home and around the world of the challenges facing Ukraine. He also intends to support the individuals and partners who are working under difficult conditions every day.
The prince will be attending the Security Conference in Kyiv. In his scheduled speech, he is expected to describe Ukraine as the frontline of democracy and condemn the war crimes committed by Putin, labeling them as deliberate and systematic. He will also warn that this war is about values, not just territory.
Harry's visit will also include a meeting with deminers from the Halo Trust charity, which was previously supported by his late mother, Princess Diana. The prince, who served in the British Army for 10 years, will also meet with members of the Ukrainian chapter of his Invictus Games Foundation, an organization that assists injured veterans in their recovery through sports.
