Will the Export of 'Jermuk' Be Banned to Russia?

Concerning information regarding exports to Russia is becoming increasingly alarming. Recently, it was announced that the state body overseeing the alcohol and tobacco market in Russia, 'Rosalkogoltabakcontrol', has initiated the process to revoke the license of the 'Proshyan Brandy Factory'. This means that the factory could lose its right to sell its products in Russia. This was reported by the 'Past' newspaper.

According to sources, new restrictions are expected soon. In particular, it seems that the next restriction will pertain to the 'Jermuk' mineral water factory. Additionally, according to the sources, it is no coincidence that in recent days, the Russian Investigative Committee decided to reopen a criminal case related to the death of a resident of Vladikavkaz who reportedly consumed 'Jermuk' mineral water. It is noted that the case had previously been suspended as it was not possible at that time to identify the individuals involved in the crime. The case has been reopened in light of new circumstances.

It cannot be ruled out that these 'new circumstances' may also have political implications. Most concerning is that such 'new circumstances' may continue to be linked to Nikol Pashinyan's geopolitical adventures,” the newspaper wrote.
