Avinyan's Father Wins in Court

The Court of Appeal has fully upheld the complaint of Tigran Avinyan's father, Armen Avinyan. This was reported by AuroraNews, citing the Datalex system.

Last summer, Grigor Iskandaryan, a member of the 'Mother Armenia' faction, filed a lawsuit against Tigran Avinyan's father, Armen Avinyan, and won. It is worth noting that Avinyan's father, during a media inquiry, stated that the amount for the red lines should be increased to 500,000, so that 'no one would be bothered here with their pretty Opel.'

Member of the Council Iskandaryan took the issue to court. The first-instance court partially satisfied his claim, granting 250,000 out of the requested 500,000 AMD compensation.

Subsequently, Avinyan's father appealed the first-instance decision to the Court of Appeal. On March 20, the appellate court, presided over by Judge Narek Gabrielian, fully upheld the appeal of the mayor's father. The previous ruling was annulled in its entirety, and Grigor Iskandaryan's claim against Armen Avinyan was entirely rejected.

The decision enters into legal force one month after publication and may be appealed to the Court of Cassation within the same timeframe.
