“That ban is a good ban in itself, but advancing it two months before the elections is problematic,” said Daniel Ioannissian, founder of the Civic Consciousness NGO, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, referring to the proposed amendment to the Electoral Code.

Recall that according to the new regulation, the name of a coalition of parties cannot contain a personal name, the names of state and local self-government bodies, or names that could be confused with them and/or their grammatical forms. The name of a coalition of parties cannot contain offensive or defamatory words or expressions.
