Israel Strikes Key Iranian Military Infrastructure
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they have struck key facilities of Iranian military infrastructure, including complexes located in Shiraz and Karaj. The Israeli side claims that significant centers used for naval and missile programs were targeted.
According to a statement from the military, the strike in Shiraz targeted what Israel describes as the 'most central object' for the placement of underwater detection systems in Iran. This site was reportedly involved in the planning, research, development, and production of hydrological systems.
The Israel Defense Forces also assert that the strike has caused significant damage to Iran's capabilities in maritime detection and defense. However, the statement does not provide independently verified figures regarding the extent of the damages.
Separate reports also indicate a strike in Karaj, where, according to the Israeli military, a central facility used for the production of cruise missiles and air defense systems was hit. No response or official confirmation has been provided by the Iranian side regarding this information.
