US President Donald Trump noted that Iranians are good fighters and a resilient people. According to him, "The enemy is not as strong as it was a month ago. They are not strong at all now." He also emphasized that Tehran has presented Washington with an "important proposal" to cease hostilities, but the US does not deem it sufficient.

"We can leave Iran right now, but I want to see this thing through to the end," Trump stated. He denied reports suggesting that details regarding a 45-day ceasefire are being discussed. "Who is talking about 45 days? The only person who will confirm a ceasefire is me. And I have not confirmed any ceasefire," he added.
