Times Change and Power Is Transferred Between Different Forces: Erdogan

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that his country is making efforts to ensure a cessation of armed actions and the start of negotiations.

Erdogan emphasized that if there is even a small opportunity, it must be fully utilized to resolve the conflict peacefully. He noted that the ongoing war is illegal and senseless and is a heavy burden on all of humanity.

The President highlighted the necessity of concluding it as quickly as possible to mitigate its global consequences. He also remarked that history shows times change and power is transferred between different forces.

In his view, those who are currently disrupting peace to maintain their political positions must consider that in the future, they too may need justice and the protection of the law.

He added that historical examples demonstrate that unchecked ambitions can lead to severe consequences for both states and peoples, impacting the global situation as well.
