Soldiers Bathe Once a Week: Hayk Sargsyan

In many countries, soldiers bathe every day. In Armenia, a few African countries, and some underdeveloped nations, soldiers only bathe once a week, said Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract Party, during a press briefing with reporters.

Sargsyan stated that he has proposed creating opportunities for soldiers to bathe daily. “Two years have passed, and the situation remains the same. Yes, we now have certain places where the troops can bathe every day, but for the most part, our boys are bathing once a week. Well, let the leadership of the Ministry of Defense also bathe once a week. Until the issue is resolved, let them bathe once a week too, I will see if they can,” he remarked.

The MP noted that this was the first time he has made such a public statement, emphasizing that he could no longer “keep it inside.”
