VIDEO: Drivers Use Pedestrian Areas for Traffic

In Yerevan, two drivers operated their vehicles in pedestrian-only zones amidst traffic congestion on Isakov Avenue, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Police discovered that the driver of a "Vaz 2109" was driving through the pedestrian area during the traffic jam on Isakov Avenue. As a result of the measures taken, the vehicle was identified and moved to a secured storage area.

During the same traffic congestion, the driver of a "Mercedes" also used the pedestrian zone for their vehicle. In this case as well, the car was found and relocated to a secure area.

Administrative violation reports have been drawn up against both drivers.
