Reasons Behind Dismissal of Investigator in Case of Youth Who Attempted to Assault Prime Minister Revealed

The Investigative Committee has disclosed the reasons for the dismissal of the investigator who was handling the case involving Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the church incident.

“Hakob Hakobkogyán allowed unauthorized individuals, particularly media representatives, to enter the search site without necessity, as well as violated the conduct rules for individuals holding autonomous positions within the Investigative Committee, namely the improper public disclosure of pre-investigation data through the media. In this regard, an internal security service investigation has been initiated,” the agency has stated.

Additionally, it was noted that Hakob Hakobkogyán was summoned to the Internal Security Service to provide explanations, after which he submitted a request to be relieved of his position.
