New Developments in the Case of the Director at the Center of a Scandal

The director of the number 94 nursery-kindergarten in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan, Phrandzem Miribyan, has not been dismissed from her position. The Yerevan municipality denied information circulating in the media in an interview with AuroraNews.

"The institution is operating normally. At this moment, the duties of the director are being performed by the methodologist. The director is on unpaid leave. The investigation is ongoing. Once it is summarized, clarifications will be provided on that matter," the municipality stated.

Recently, information emerged that parents at the 94th nursery-kindergarten had organized a protest, expressing their dissatisfaction with the director's behavior. According to the parents, the director's actions have prompted caregivers to submit resignation letters and leave their positions, with acquaintances of Phrandzem Miribyan being hired in their place.

Later, kindergarten caregivers and specialists issued statements discussing violations of their labor rights and inappropriate remarks made towards them by the director.

Parents also visited the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, meeting with the district mayor to present the created situation. The mayor's office promised to provide an urgent resolution to the issue.

The Yerevan municipality also announced that an investigation is being conducted regarding the actions of director Phrandzem Miribyan in order to respond appropriately.
