Torosyan on Changing Age Limit for Dismissal at 65

During a government session, we approved a package of draft laws, which has been submitted to the National Assembly. This was announced in a video posted on the Facebook page of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan.

“The age threshold is being removed for our citizens who work in the public sector, although there will be exceptions. In all cases, we will not be forced to dismiss our citizens when they reach 65, as this does not correspond to modern demands. It is unacceptable to dismiss people from work based on age,” stated the minister. More details can be found in the video.
