Iran's New Regime Has Reached Out to Me: Trump

Donald Trump claims that the president of Iran's new regime has asked for a ceasefire from the United States. The discussion is also focused on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump made this announcement on his Truth Social platform. He did not disclose the name of the official who reached out to him, but emphasized that this individual is "less radical and significantly smarter than his predecessors."

According to him, Washington will consider the ceasefire only if the Strait of Hormuz is "open, free, and safe" for international shipping.

At the same time, Trump used quite stern wording, stating, "Until then, we will completely destroy Iran, or, as they say, we will send them back to the Stone Age."
