Police Do Not Require Additional Instructions: Nikol Pashinyan

The police do not require additional instructions to fulfill their duties. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in response to a question from NEWS.am regarding the forceful detention of two young individuals after an incident at the church.

Pashinyan did not respond to other questions.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in a service at the Saint Anna Church with members of the ruling Civil Contract party. During the service, an incident occurred where one of the attendees attempted to strike the Prime Minister; however, the bodyguards prevented the incident.

Officers from the National Police have detained two individuals on suspicion of hooliganism and interfering with the legal duties and political activities of a public official.
