Active Cyclone Approaching: Heavy Precipitation Expected in the Form of Wet Snow, Rain, and Wind

Due to the penetration of an active cyclone from the south, rain is expected intermittently in most regions on March 27-28, with wet snow in mountainous areas and rain in pre-mountain and valley zones. Some regions may experience low visibility and gusty winds, with speeds between 14-17 m/s.

On March 27, significant precipitation is anticipated in parts of Syunik, Vayots Dzor, and Gegharkunik. Due to these expected rains, a rise in water levels in the rivers of the republic is forecasted from March 26-28. On March 27-28, a substantial increase in water levels is expected in the basins of the Voghji, Gorismet, Meghriget, Arpa, and Debed rivers.
