Armenia and Turkey Discuss Possibility of Reciprocal Scholarships, Says Mirzoyan
The possibility of establishing scholarships for students from each other’s universities is being discussed between Armenia and Turkey. This was announced by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a meeting of the National Assembly's Foreign Relations Committee, where he presented the Foreign Ministry's activity report for 2025.
Mirzoyan noted that at this stage, Armenia and Turkey have a quite active, dynamic, and promising dialogue. He reminded that there are already clear agreements between Yerevan and Ankara, and the parties are moving forward with their implementation.
“The possibility of establishing scholarships for students from each other’s universities is currently being discussed,” Mirzoyan said. He also added that there have been numerous meetings and exchanges between Armenian and Turkish officials in 2025, which indicates the dynamically evolving dialogue between the two countries.
