Parents of Soldiers Protest Near Government Building

Parents of conscripted soldiers are holding a protest in front of the Government building. They demand that the law on reducing the length of military service be applied retroactively, extending the regulation of 1.5 years of service to also include the summer draft of 2025.

One parent stated, "An unequal situation has arisen. They are classmates, peers, who go in later than our sons, but come out sooner. There is inequality here. Our boys are not complaining about anything; we are simply demanding that either the law be made retroactive or that the leaves be extended significantly."
