We Must Help Our Compatriots Displaced from Artsakh Settle in Armenia, Says Pashinyan
The government of Armenia must support the displaced Armenians from Artsakh in settling within the Republic of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement during the conference titled ‘Inclusive Development: Achievements and Future Tasks.’
“I consider it very important that we assist our sisters and brothers displaced from Artsakh to emerge from their state of psychological distress. We must focus on helping them, providing every possible support so that they receive citizenship of the Republic of Armenia and settle in Armenia, forging a lasting link with our country. This is of utmost political and psychological significance,” the Prime Minister stated.
Pashinyan emphasized that since 2023, he has maintained constant contact with those displaced from Artsakh, acquainted himself with their issues, and provided responses to their concerns. “Since 2023, approximately 145 billion drams have been allocated from the state budget of Armenia for various programs to address the needs of our compatriots displaced from Artsakh,” Pashinyan noted.
