Iran has officially confirmed that Ali Larijani has been killed. This has been reported by Iranian state media.
According to information, his son, Morteza Larijani, and his head of security have also been murdered.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed the death of Basij forces commander Gholamreza Soleimani. At the same time, Iran's Security Council has acknowledged the death of its secretary, Ali Larijani.
