Former Hospital Director's Lost Funds Must Be Returned, Health Minister Says
The question arises on what will happen to the salaries of the employees at the Vedi Medical Center, whose director reportedly lost funds in a casino. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan addressed journalists on this matter.
“You know that there is a criminal case, and I believe this is truly a serious issue. We are currently reviewing additional mechanisms for the technical, banking, and financial flow control of directors in all our hospitals,” Avanesyan stated, mentioning that all monthly salaries have been paid and the medical center is functioning normally with a new temporary acting director appointed.
“Our collaboration with law enforcement is ongoing, and these funds must be returned,” Avanesyan added.
