Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Responds to Iranian Threats

The spokesperson of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Heorhii Tyhin, has called the statement by an Iranian parliament member declaring Ukraine a 'legitimate target' due to its supply of drones to Israel an 'absolute absurdity.'

He emphasized that Iran has supported the killing of Ukrainians for years by supplying Russia with drones and military technology. Tyhin compared Tehran's threats, which reference the right to self-defense, to that of a serial killer attempting to justify their crimes under criminal law.

'The Iranian regime must be held accountable for all its crimes committed against the people of Iran and other countries and peoples,' the diplomat added.
