Erdogan Issues Statement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that they are acting with great caution against traps and provocations aimed at dragging their country into war. He emphasized that Ankara is prepared to respond to all threats directed at it and is taking necessary measures to avoid being drawn into the conflict surrounding Iran.

“We are taking necessary security measures in the event of any threat to our airspace, as happened the night before,” said the Turkish president, referring to the incident involving a missile launched from Iranian territory that was intercepted in Turkish airspace.

He added that Ankara is considering all possible scenarios for the development of the situation and is analyzing the events in detail. “Our efforts are focused not only on visible developments but also on processes happening behind the scenes. We do not rule out any scenario and are studying everything meticulously. At the same time, alongside strengthening the country's security, we are trying to prevent the conflict from spreading to our region through dialogue and diplomacy,” Erdogan stated.
