Number of Armenian Citizens Currently in the UAE

On March 10, the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai organized and executed the free transportation of 7 Armenian citizens to Oman. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Today, at the UAE-Oman border, a diplomat from the Armenian Embassy in Oman welcomed the Armenian citizens, facilitating their crossing and transportation to Muscat Airport. The Muscat-Yerevan flight is scheduled for late this evening.

In total, from March 4 to March 10, 253 Armenian citizens benefited from 5 free transportation services organized by the Armenian Embassy in the UAE and the Consulate General in Dubai to Muscat.

During this period, the Armenian Embassy in the UAE has also been approached for assistance by citizens facing health issues, with whom continuous contact has been maintained to address urgent matters. Three citizens with health issues, along with their family members, have returned to Armenia free of charge via the Muscat-Yerevan flight with the support of the embassy.

According to the embassy, there are currently about 40 Armenian citizens in the UAE, including 14 students.
