Gyumri-Bavra Highway Closed: Current Situation on Roads

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" highland meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

The Gyumri-Bavra highway is closed for all types of vehicles.

In Lori Province, highways are closed for trucks with trailers, while other vehicles face difficult navigation.

The Mastara-Lanjik, Noravan-Kapan highways, and the section from Karbi village to the Spitak bend are closed for trucks with trailers.

The Sisian-Zanger and "Ltzeni Sar" sections are difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers.

Snowfall is reported in Lori Province and the regions of Talin and Aragats.

Fog has settled on the Berd-Jambarak highway.

There are patches of black ice on the highways in Shirak and Gegharkunik Provinces. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding the Lars situation: According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
