Aliyev's Bodyguards Assault Azerbaijani Protesters

In Washington, bodyguards of Ilham Aliyev have inflicted bodily harm on Azerbaijani protesters. The Azerbaijani media reported that a 'nationalist radical group attempted to carry out provocative actions, made offensive and immoral statements directed at the leadership of the state, and simultaneously tried to penetrate the protected area.' During the incident, the president's security service, in collaboration with U.S. law enforcement, intervened swiftly, bringing the situation under control, removing the radicals from the area, and preventing possible developments.
