Air Temperature Gradually Decreases

On February 19, the Republic of Armenia will experience precipitation in some regions during the afternoon of the 22nd and on the 23rd. In the pre-mountainous and valley regions, this will come as rain, while in the mountainous areas, there will be snow at night and mixed rain and snow during the day. From February 20-21, and on the night of the 22nd, dry weather is expected.

The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center reports that in Yerevan, short-term rain is expected after midday on February 19, in the evening of the 22nd, and at night on the 23rd. No precipitation is forecasted for February 20-21, and on the night of the 22nd to the daytime of the 23rd.

The daytime temperature on February 19 is expected to reach 14-16 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, it will drop to +6...+8 degrees. There will also be a strengthening of the wind in some places on February 19 and 22, with speeds of 14-18 m/s, as well as blizzards and low horizontal visibility in some mountainous areas.

From February 19-20, the air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 4-5 degrees, and in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik regions, by 7-10 degrees.
