Roskomnadzor's Demands Go Unanswered: Moscow's Statement on Telegram
Russia's Minister of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, has stated that the Telegram messenger is allegedly collaborating with foreign intelligence services, according to Russian claims. He mentioned that Russian authorities possess data indicating that the platform provides access to users' messages.
Shadayev asserted that this information is being utilized in operations against the Russian army in Ukraine. At the same time, he noted that Telegram has not responded to approximately 150,000 requests from Roskomnadzor to remove prohibited content.
According to the minister, the transmission of media files on Telegram is currently slowed down, while the accessibility of text messages remains intact.
No official statement has been released by Telegram regarding these allegations.
