Court Accepts the Appeals of Defrocked Clergymen

The first instance court of Armavir region has accepted the appeals of Father Aram Asatryan and Father Tadeh Takhmazyan, who were defrocked by Garegin II.

This was reported by Armenian Time. The court also mandated an interim measure to ensure that the church does not impede Stepan Asatryan and Aramayis Takhmazyan in their activities as spiritual leaders.

Additionally, the court has requested the Mother See to provide evidence supporting the Patriarchal directive of the Catholicos, as well as the internal and individual legal acts referenced therein and the contracts regulating the activities of the clergymen.
