Vardenyats Pass Closed for All Types of Vehicles

The Emergency Rescue Service informs that the roadways within the Republic of Armenia are mostly accessible. However, the roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Kar Lake are closed. The Tsaghkadzor-Navur road is closed for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for all types of vehicles.

In Gegharkunik Province, there are spots on the roads with black ice. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
