Vardenyats Pass Closed Due to Severe Snow and Lack of Visibility

As of February 13 at 19:20, all interstate and republican significance highways in Armenia are open. This is reported by the Road Department Foundation.

The organizations responsible for road maintenance continue their work on clearing the roads and treating them with salt and sand. Due to adverse weather conditions, roads are occasionally closed because of severe snow, lack of visibility, and traffic safety considerations.

The Ttujur-Navur highway is closed for vehicles with trailers, while open to other types of vehicles. Light snow is falling in the Ashotsk region. The Vardenyats Pass is closed to all types of vehicles due to severe snow and lack of visibility.
