Iran's President Pezeshkian Issues Critical Statement
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has made a critical statement regarding the operations of state and quasi-governmental media in the country's information space, addressing the quality and direction of their content.
According to him, television channels and media should abandon senseless discussions and pay more attention to the real issues facing society. The President emphasized that the main purpose of information platforms should be to illuminate facts about public engagement and cooperation with state structures.
Pezeshkian highlighted that the media can play a crucial role in demonstrating how the people support the government and participate in the country’s social and economic processes. In his assessment, such content can be more effective than formal or empty broadcasts.
The Iranian President's statement came within the context of discussions on domestic information policy and aimed at reviewing the mechanisms of state communication to ensure a more targeted and practical approach.
