Zakharova Responds to Comparisons Made About Her
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has responded to comparisons made about her, expressing a desire not to be equated with certain political figures from European and international institutions.
This comes after German political analyst Patrick Baabu, in an interview with Swiss lawyer Peter Henze, compared Zakharova to former German Foreign Minister, President of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell.
Baabu noted that there are evident differences between Zakharova and these politicians, stating that Russian diplomats speak multiple languages and are well-articulated, in contrast to Baerbock, who does not fully master her native language. Furthermore, he mentioned that Russian diplomats work 14-hour shifts and have high levels of education.
Zakharova addressed this comparison in a brief post on her Telegram channel, stating, "I would ask you not to compare."
