We are targeting Pashinyan, and we will continue to do so: Serzh Sargsyan
The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, stated in a conversation with journalists that uniting the opposition is a very complex issue.
“We do not have a decision regarding the elections; if we do, we will announce it. I desire unity among the opposition, but events show that uniting the opposition is very challenging. Let’s see. It is not about going with a single list. We are targeting Pashinyan, and we will continue to do so,” he said.
Regarding the TRIPP project, Sargsyan noted, “I do not know until the end what TRIPP is. The Azerbaijanis call it a corridor, the Turks call it a corridor, and part of the Armenian public calls it a corridor. The authorities consider it a security guarantee, an intersection, but what they say will change in a week, in a month, and in two months it might be completely the opposite.”
